Baseball tryouts have been moved to Monday, March 3, and Tuesday, March 4. You must attend both days.
Players must bring a glove have a current physical.

Parent/Teacher conferences will take place on Thursday, February 13, from 3-6 pm. Parents may contact or visit teachers during that time to discuss their student's progress.
Due to a rise in illness among students and staff, all schools in the New Madrid County R-1 School District will be closed on Friday, January 24, 2025. During this time, our custodial and maintenance teams will deep clean and sanitize all school buildings to help reduce the spread of illness and ensure a safe return for everyone.
Additionally, all homecoming activities will be postponed, and a new schedule will be announced soon. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we make these adjustments.
At this time, we plan to reopen schools on Monday, January 27, 2025. We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates if anything changes.

Central Middle School is on the nice list! We are proud to announce our 2024 Annual Performance Report increased by 26.8% from 2023!!! Missouri DESE measures the progress of our school using MAP test scores along with other data. This growth is a result of hard work from our students, teachers, and staff, and we couldn't be more proud!

CMS students and staff were recognized by DESE for MAP test GROWTH & IMPROVEMENT! Students celebrated today at lunch with candy and karaoke with the counselor!

There will be no after school tutoring or detention this week 9/30 - 10/4.
Middle school tutoring will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00 - 5:30. There will be transportation on these days. Parents/Guardians may pick their student up earlier than 5:30 on Tuesday and Thursday, however if an after school tutoring student needs to ride a bus they will be on the 5:30 bus home.
CMS will be participating in Spirit week next week OCT 7th - Oct 11th. Please see attached flyer for more information.
The Middle School football game against Kelly, scheduled for Thursday, 9/26, has been moved to Wednesday, 9/25. This is a home game and will start at 5:00pm.
